When it comes to bringing about change in our lives and the world, we all have a propensity to seek outside of ourselves. We want other people to share our perspective, think similarly, and effect the same improvements that we do. What if, though, we adopted a different strategy? What if we took the initiative to bring about the change we want to see in the world rather than waiting for others to do so? Although the idea of being the change you want to see in the world is not new, it has gained more significance in the present political atmosphere. It can be challenging to know where to look for solutions in the current world of numerous social and environmental problems. We may, however, make a meaningful difference and have a beneficial impact on the world around us if we take the initiative and try to bring about the change we want to see.
