Christian Essentials

Sincere Christians may disagree on certain things without harm. These are called "disputable matters" in Romans 14:1 or "non-essentials." The Apostle Paul gives clear instruction on how to deal with non-essential matters that might otherwise divide us. Is it not a command of scripture to agree on the essentials and not to argue (discuss, yes, but not argue) about the non-essentials? The questions is this. What are the essentials that all Christians agree upon? What are those topics you believe are beyond dispute? What beliefs are absolutely essential - fundamental - to being a Christian? This Bible study course guides you through an examination of many of the key questions about God and Creation. Compare your thoughts and beliefs with others in the class. Be open-minded (in humility and love) to consider other perspectives. The goal is unity in the faith. Not unity at any cost; but Christian unity nevertheless.
