Flying Lessons

In 1937, 13-year-old LaMarr's mother flies off with a stunt pilot. Sent to live with an aunt and uncle, LaMarr awaits her mother's return and is befriended by an older man, a former Rough Rider with Teddy Roosevelt, who helps her accept the probability that her mother is gone forever.
