The McBays add a gunroom they call The Gun Way plus, more. They add cows and horses to their Ranch, Autumn's Crossing and they even add a couple more people to their already large, McBay Family. As they all feared, Ace Angel and his gunslingers come to town and Shermon says he almost lost his first fight. Still with God in their hearts and prayers the McBays conquer their worst fears and have a wedding to remember. The day Shermon Robert McBay and Cheyenne Nicole Decker marry on October 15th, 1850.This is the third book of The McBays Series and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it. The McBays have become a part of my life and my family from the first book I wrote and now I hope they have also become part of your life. There could be a fourth book later with the young cowboys being 15 or 16 years older making their largest and longest trail drive, plus adding to the size of the McBay Family and calling for Gods help more than once as they make their way from Waco Texas, back to where it all started in Kansas City, Missouri.I have always loved the outdoors and have also thought of what it would be like to travel by covered wagons over open trails. I am now 72 years young and have been married for 52 years. I love God, life and my family. I hope that more than a million people get the chance to read my books, and I hope that they enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them. I believe in miracles, and I believe someday that there will be a movie made of my McBay series. I want to thank you again for reading my books and you can contact me through facebook @BobSelf;Collinsville Author. Keep God in your hearts and minds and you can accomplish anything with a little hard work and Gods help. Your friend, Bob R. Self, 2020.
In this tale of boldness and uncertainty, the McBays fight and pull together to survive with courage and honor against man and beast. They also deal with mother nature on a trail of both beautiful and somewhat ugly times. With God in their hearts, and their daily prayers, they make their way to their new land in Waco, Texas. Bob Self I have always loved the outdoors and have also thought of what it would be like to travel by covered wagons over open trails. I believe in miracles, and I believe someday that there will be a movie made of my three books. Thanks for reading my first book, "The McBays." Watch for my second book, "The McBays at Autumn's Crossing."
