My German Prisons is a memoir written by Horace Gray Gilliland about his experience as a prisoner of war in Germany during World War I. The book details his capture by German soldiers on November 14, 1914, and his subsequent imprisonment in various German prisons for two and a half years. Gilliland recounts the harsh conditions he faced as a prisoner, including poor food and living conditions, forced labor, and physical abuse.
