My first book. This is something of a toe dipper in to the stories and adventures of my protagonists. JoJo does make an initial appearance, but after this i find myself swimming with daemons and angels of foreign adventures, Happy Monks, and egg sandwiches. This book may not be to everyone's taste, but seeing as i wrote the first draft when i was but Eighteen and still living at home with my mum, you will have to forgive me for this. In fact she kicked me out not long after this, but that my friend, is another story
John Robinson had the worst possible start in life. Taken into care at four months old, he was left in abusive foster homes for most of his childhood. At fourteen he was sent to a detention centre for arson. Gravitating towards a life of crime, he moved from borstal to the streets to psychiatric hospital, a scarred, tattooed, broken and angry young man. Yet God had plans for John. He would go on to run the Eden bus ministry: frontline youth buses which travel the toughest parts of Manchester with the gospel. The teams befriend young people and sometimes accompany them to court. 'My passion is, and I pray always will be, for those who feel downtrodden, hurt and rejected,' says John Robinson. 'They feel like scum, and wake up each day with nothing and no one. I know exactly what that feels like.'
Growing up, John Robinson never considered himself an inspiration to others. He was born a congenital amputee and stands three foot eight as an adult. In this book, he writes in an honest, personal voice, showing that a disability does not have to get in the way of an education, a career, a family, or one of his favorite hobbies, golf.
With our unprecedented longevity, aging has become a new developmental stage in the human life cycle. Conscious sacred aging now offers humanity profound opportunities for psychological, spiritual and mystical transformation, expanding not only our lifespan but our awareness of God as well. What if we discover in this awakening that we are already divine? What if this realization transforms our very nature and purpose in the world? The Divine Human answers these questions and more, revealing the ultimate meaning of the New Aging.
The late Bishop John A T Robinson wrote this book early on in his life. It is about the notion of personality and it's relation to Christian theology, with particular reference to the contemporary "I-Thou Philosophy" of Martin Buber and it's relation to the doctrine of "The Trinity" and "The Person of Christ."
Anyone who has ridden more than three bikes will know that there are differences - sometimes big differences - in the way they react. This book looks at motorcycle tuning and how this affects individual bikes, concentrating on chassis tuning.
Teaches readers how to evaluate their engines and how to assess what work you can undertake yourself, and what is best left to a specialist. Armed with little more than a set of files, you can make profound changes to the output power of a two-stroke.
