Captain Calliope shows up with a new unusual circus act, leaves the animals in the custody of Bailey and her friends then disappears. They try to train the animals and plan a backyard circus. Bailey has surprising news, and confronts a bully.
Trouble includes a bear, mysterious messages in Morse code, a hunter and disappearing clothes, as a new character, Duck, comes for a short visit. He refuses to join outdoor adventures with Bailey Fish and her friends, but uses his creative mind.
Bailey and her friends, decide to stage a play about ghosts or space travelers, when Keswick Inn's newest guest, Li'l Bonbon, an adult bully, takes over. Told to be polite to adults, the kids struggle with dealing with her.

Bailey Fish and her new friends, Noah and Fred Keswick discover hidden treasures in the boys new home that is being restored. An unknown thief is stealing a number of them, causing the kids to make a false assumptions about the suspected culprit.
Bailey is surprised when strangers arrive at her grandmother's door--a father she doesn't remember and Norma Jean, an annoying half-sister. Norma Jean smiles too much, touches everything, and isn't like her best friends, who are more like sisters. Norma Jean even likes the neighborhood bully. Attitudes eventually change, but not without drama.
