Det mest kendte og anvendte var dog Charles Bristol. Han skrev over 300 værker i forskellige genrer lige fra børnebøger over krimier til dyrebøger. Meyn debuterede i 1911 med bogen "Med luftskib til Mars", som han skrev sammen med August Kingsley.
