Fynboen Laurids Jacobsen Hindsholm (1600-1663) voksede op i sin fars præstegård i Viby på Hindsholm og blev præst og provst i Rudkøbing. Kong Christian 4. hentede ham til København som sin hofprædikant. Medvirkende til denne udnævnelse kan også være Hindsholms kendskab til den få år yngre hertug Frederik (3.), med hvem han havde en fælles baggrund fra akademiet i Sorø. Hindsholm tjente ved hoffet, indtil han i 1651 vendte tilbage til sin fødeø som biskop. Gennem 16 år førte han dagbog, hvor han noterede stort og småt fra sin hverdag og sin karriere. Dagbøgerne er nu publiceret som kildeudgave med omfattende indledning og registre.

The caterpillar begins as a devourer, but becomes a useful and fruitful butterfly, an insect that has a productive purpose. God spoke this verse to the author of this book, my husband Larry, shortly after he met Jesus in 1979. Larry had been lamenting his past wasted years. KINGDOM ENCOUNTER DISCIPLESHIP is a comprehensive and challenging in-depth series of 12 lessons that bring revelation to the way you think about yourself and understand the Kingdom of God. To secure your identity in who God created you to be and to experience the "Kingdom of God" in this lifetime; that you have a unique identity and purpose. This DISCIPLESHIP CURRICULUM is designed to make studying the Bible easy to understand for a new believer yet causes a mature believer to reflect on what they think they know. It teaches disciples how to make disciples.The KINGDOM ENCOUNTER DISCIPESHIP is especially effective when conducted in a small group format. We have found that having men and women meet separately for discussion provides a setting conducive to honest expression and transparency; to be clear, men and women discuss things differently. Although we found that couples like to prepare their lessons together prior to meeting with their discussion groups. Our goal has always been to build confident leaders and disciple-makers; to seek the gold in each individual follower of Jesus Christ.This is how we conducted the first KINGDOM ENCOUNTER DISCIPLESHIP: A Men's and Women's group of about 15 each met on the same day in two separate rooms in our church building. The individual members were divided into small groups of 3-4 people, and the groups stayed together for the entire 12 sessions. Within the groups, they rotated a group facilitator for each lesson, who did not teach the lesson, but guided the discussion. Each lesson took about 2 weeks to complete outside of class, and each person came prepared to discuss it during a 2-hour time frame. We met in a large room, separated into clusters of 3-4 people in their small groups. We did not allow groups larger than 4 because we discovered someone either hide out or is left out of discussions. Accountability for the progress of the group also works better in the 3-4 member clusters. We provided Certificates of Achievement at the end of the Series. While an individual can do the workbook, not discuss it with anyone and still find value, we find that "iron sharpens iron" and therefore encourage the small group format to maximize growth and understanding.The KINGDOM ENCOUNTER DISCIPLESHIP is a wonderful way for individuals to gather friends to do this Bible Study at the KITCHEN TABLE, in the FAMILY ROOM, at a COFFEE HOUSE, or in other great venues outside of a church setting. The KINGDOM OF GOD is everywhere and a KINGDOM ENCOUNTER is for every believer!

Welcome to the world of writing, printing and publishing! We, of "I AM" Fellowship, are very excited to provide this material to educate future authors of the ever-evolving publishing industry.We formed our company "I AM" Productions in 1980 because the "Word" of the Lord to us was that we would write, design and publish books. Our passion was to present Kingdom principles with simplicity, practicality and excellence. We can't tell you how many publishers we wrote to, hundreds, asking them to consider our manuscript for publication. All responses that we received from publishers were unfruitful. We were young, gifted and hopeful even though we weren't getting a positive response from any publishers.We then decided that we would produce the book because we knew God said to produce it. Not having ANY idea what was involved in getting a manuscript printed. There were many months of research, phone calls, and visitations to various companies trying to align the right companies together to get this project done. God was indeed faithful because He led us to every person or company that was needed to complete the task. If we remember correctly, our 1st book (WHO Is God?) had 172 pages, over 275 graphics, symbols or pictures, and we printed 500 copies to start. Well, we blasted off and never looked back!So if you see yourself as the creative director of your book(s), from concept to completion and beyond, then you are also a self-publisher. It is through this vein that we approached self-publishing. Having been in the business now for 37 years as our own publishers, we have seen many changes in the "printing manuscript" process.We will discuss brie y the history of writers, the types of publishing, the professional writing process, the levels ofediting, journaling, book layout, cover design and printing, ebooks, and conclude with marketing techniques.We believe this book will give you many insights as to the future progression of literary manuscripts. This work is a "synopsis", of four topics: Religion, Tradition, Church, and Kingdom. We are communicating foundational Biblically based material and research on these topics with the prayer and expectation that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of the Son of God will rest upon anyone who reads this text so that a solid, general understanding will be embraced concerning the believers inheritance in Christ through his church (Eph. 1:16-23). Furthermore, we pray and expect that you will be motivated to continue further study and consideration of the power resident in the believer through understanding and Differentiating Religion, Tradition, Church and Kingdom.You may be thinking that since Christians embrace the Bible as the Word of God that all Christians should be able to discern, see, agree and interpret scripture the same way. In a perfect world, every believer would dutifully study the Bible in prayerful dependence upon the Holy Spirit's illumination and receive unified understanding. This is not a perfect world so there is the need to continually proclaim what God is saying to his people.On essentials, the Bible is copiously clear. On issues of less importance, however, the teaching of Scripture is not resolute so this leads to varying human interpretations. The important carriage to take is to be unyielding where Scripture is flexible and to avoid rigidity where Scripture is flexible. There was unity in the early church because they were all steadfast in the apostles' doctrine. There will be unity in the church again when we get back to the apostles' doctrine and forego the other doctrines, fads, and gimmicks that have crept into the church. Let's get back to the "original" pattern and discern what is only Tradition, what is just Religion, who and what is The Church, and how to manifest God's Kingdom in this earth.
