Missionary, preacher, author, and friend of the Jewish people was William Eugene Blackstone. Business leaders of the day John D. Rockefeller, J. Pierpont Morgan, George M. Pullman, and Cornelius Vanderbilt signed their names on the Memorial. W. E. Blackstone was friends with R. A. Torrey, T. C. Horton, A. T. Pierson, A. B. Simpson, and many other well-known ministers of that era.
