Helen is asked to take a scarf back to the Camino De Santiago. She is making the pilgrimage with a group of Catholic women led by Sister Sophia, a Catholic nun. This is to be a mother-daughter trip to celebrate her daughter's graduation from high school. Walking the Frances Route, she struggles physically through the Pyrenees, finds her religious beliefs challenged on the Meseta, and is shocked into integrating it all as she walks into Santiago. Little does she know that the spirit of the pilgrimage has been embedded in the fibers of the scarf and she will receive much more than she expected.
