My testimony speaks about rejection. Growing up, I was bound for many years, being consumed with rejection. As a young girl, those feelings and emotions lead me to seek love, acceptance, and approval in the things of the world, leaving me broken, jaded, tainted, and scarred. If I would have only known and understood how greatly loved, cherished, and adored I was in the Lord's eyes, I wouldn't have gone searching for that fulfillment in the world. God's Word is life-changing! It is a chain-breaking kind of power! It's setting the captive free kind of power! It's powerful, and speaking God's Word over our daughters will bring true understanding of whom God created them to be and how greatly loved and cherished they are.In this generation, the pressures of social media trends and the influences of the world are more now than ever. As a Christian parent, speaking God's Word over our children is needed now, more than flesh and blood can bear. It's essential. It's necessary. It is a vital tool in raising our children to truly comprehend their worth and importance, their uniqueness, and the vast magnitude of love the Lord has for His children.

This is an eight-week Precept Bible Study written specifically for Home Groups on the Apostle Paul's letter to the churches in Galatia. The book is designed to challenge your home group with in-depth, thought-provoking commentaries and real-world application questions.Galatians is one of the oldest letters in the New Testament and was written to encourage the believers and address a problem with some false teachers called Judaizers. The problem was the Judaizers were telling the Gentiles they must obey the Jewish laws and traditions in order to be saved. In other words, the Judaizers were putting pressure on the Gentiles to become Jews before they could become Christians. Another problem was these false teachers were questioning the Apostle Paul's authority by saying he was not a real apostle. In today's world, Christians are being tempted daily to compromise their faith through peer pressure from friends, family, and co-workers, and are tempted by movies, television, commercials, and social media. The pressure to compromise and be more like the world has intensified by the current cancel culture which is pushing an anti-Christian message. The Galatian believers were up against similar pressures. What can we learn from Paul's letter to the early churches in Galatia, and what does it mean for Christians to be in the world but not of the world? Buckle up and get ready to go on a journey with Paul as we take an in-depth look at the problems facing the early church and compare them to the issues facing Christians today. Here are some other precept Bible study's for home groups.Acts: The Birth of the Church (12 weeks)Acts: Paul's Three Missionary Journeys (10 weeks)Acts: Paul's Arrest, Trial and Imprisonment (8 weeks)Galatians: Oh, You Foolish Galatians (8 weeks)Ephesians: Queen of the Epistles (9 weeks)Page 2

After growing up in the Episcopal church while always dabbling in the occult and witchcraft, Jeremy had a world-shaking terminal diagnosis of cancer. Upon a miraculous intervention by God Almighty and a painful surgical experience, Jeremy began a deep dive into Christianity and his faith. Along with his wife, Buffy, they have been a part of charismatic, nondenominational, Baptist, and evangelical churches. As a result, this book has been written to help the everyday Christians. It has been written to debunk bad doctrines/heresies and demystify the faith. This book flies in the face of those would-be "prophets" and "preachers" who espouse how everything relies on your faith or spout generic "Christian horoscopes" of "favor," "new seasons," and the ever-elusive "next level."These bad and horrific "teachings" are dangerous and painful especially when you pray for loved ones who still die or when you suffer setbacks at work, homelife, marriage, dating, schooling, vocation, etc. because it leaves you beating up yourself wondering why "your faith" wasn't enough for a miracle, etc. This book lays out plainly how we are to operate in the everyday grind of our lives and how God is there every step of the way even when we don't "feel" it or perform some crazy miracle. You can be a janitor at a school cleaning children's vomit off the lunchroom floor or be a world-renowned heart surgeon saving the life of a political world leader, and this book will help both of you and everyone in between to grow in their faith and reliance on the one true God who is sovereign when we don't understand, compassionate when we hurt, and guiding us back when we wander.Use this book to return to the Bible and more importantly return to God the Father and Jesus the Christ and be indwelt with the Holy Spirit.
Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.--Ephesians 5:15-17 NIVWe have all heard the sayings "Time is money" and "Use your time wisely" numerous times. We go to school, work, and go home, viewing each day as just another day. Some of us live as if time is infinite by living as we please. Others are living for the moment. Several become experts at wasting time and dwelling on the past with regret, wishing that they can go back in time. Is there more to life than just a typical routine?Time is the most valuable and important part of life. Tomorrow was never promised, but you can make the most of each day by making better decisions. You will learn about excellent strategies to smartly use your time and become successful as I reveal ways to enjoy the precious parts of life and draw closer to God. After making several mistakes, can you still improve your life? In a fast-paced world, is there a way to manage time?
While working with students, their parents, and with colleagues, I noticed God is always at work. In many casual conversations, I was encouraged by the number of colleagues that stated their dependence on God for guidance. These short devotions are intended as an encouragement to educators, beginning their school day, to draw attention to the activities of the Holy Spirit in their life and work activities. It is my prayer the reader will identify with many of these devotions and be reminded of the Holy Spirit's activity in their lives.

Some of her own making, and some by the hands of others. A ministry is born. Repentance happens. Anger is let go. The Chapters of My Life could be a chapter in your life.
Grandpaw Norman and the North Hill Gang is an ongoing story about a unique group of friends and neighbors that come together to create the rarest form of family. The central figure is Grandpaw Norman, a stately, warm, and caring bear that leans on his experience, knowledge, and wisdom to guide and teach (and sometimes learn from) the other members of North Hill (a bright patch of forest where all types of God's creatures live). In this initial story, Grandpaw Norman helps some of the community's youngest members find answers to life's toughest questions (at least they are challenging for Iliana, Collin, and Zayden). I hope you enjoy the chance to visit in as they discuss Chocolate Thoughts.
My book, "The Tamale Letter" is based on a true history of my family over three generations. My grandfather, Anastacio Reyes was an orphan at the age of 10 in Mexico. He drifted from other family members who did not have the financial means nor room to raise another child. He never received an education and could barely read or write. At the age of twelve years old, he worked as a storekeeper's assistance for two years. At the age of fourteen years of age he migrated to the United States with a caravan of migrant workers. He worked odd jobs like making fire pits to cook food, working the fields and cleaning dishes. As he got older, he worked for Southern Pacific Railroad, laying down railroad tracks. At eighteen years old, he met my grandmother Maria Gabino. And after a short courtship they married and raised five children, one being my father, Rudy Reyes. The new Reyes family grew up in Houston during the Great Depression Era and through World War 2. Both our grandfather and grandmother were a loving and Christian family who taught their five children how to treat each other and eventually their families as they got married. The title of my book, "The Tamale Letter" came from an actual letter our aunt Mary Allice, the youngest of the five children wrote to her older brother, Jesse Reyes who was at the Battle of the Bulge.
In the northwest corner of the state of Washington, there is a little-known spit of land that is only accessible by boat or driving twenty-five miles through Canada called Point Roberts. A place so small and forgotten by the rest of the State that there is no active law enforcement and only a volunteer fire department. In 1973, it was the perfect place for the citizens of British Columbia to moor their boats at the marina and grab a drink on Sundays. It was also the perfect place for the US Marshals to dump criminals that turned state's evidence and entered the newly formed witness protection program.Fresh from graduating from Quantico at the bottom of his class, Henry Sloan is sent to Bellingham, a place where nothing ever happens, so he can learn from veteran FBI agent Danny Jordan and stay out of trouble. However, when bodies start washing up on the local beaches, Henry's first case turns into a twisted affair. He will go head-to-head with local authorities, the US Marshals, and the offbeat denizens of Point Roberts in what might be the craziest first week on the job that any FBI agent has ever faced.
Is Three a Crowd? is an adventure story about a trio of characters who have been bosom buddies since grade school and have come under the sovereign hand of God to be used to save the world. Their lives begin in Boston and move on to Atlanta, Georgia, and then to Florida and finally to Belize, as their life destiny unfolds. None of the three ever imagined what God had in store for them, nor the trials and tribulations that the calling upon their lives would include. The answer to the book title is revealed in the last chapter of book 1. Book 2, 3, and 4 moves on to the rain forest and then to Ukraine and ending in deepest Africa, where God's plan to rescue the world through them, and a cast of quite a few more characters, is consummated. One's faith in miracles and the basic love of God for everyone is energized and illuminated by this entire series.

It is also about being born with a flaw doesn't mean you can't be an extraordinary donkey.

I want what Jesus paid for. I cannot tell you how many times I went before the Lord in prayer with these words. At times, I pictured Him rolling His eyes at me, thinking, Oh no, there she is again! I am thankful He really did not do that. God wants us to be free. He does not want the baggage we are experiencing to stop us from having a blessed life.We know Jesus paid for our healing. We need to learn how to receive it. It does not just fall on us. I had a lot of afflictions and desperately needed to learn how to receive what Jesus paid for. It is my prayer that the help I found will also help you. Healing is a breath of fresh air for those who are praying for healing and for those who are studying healing.
