Each therapy is unique and unrepeatable and also a huge challenge: for the couple, in pursuit of their growth; and for the therapist, in his role of helping her solve her problems and accompanying her on that journey through life. Simple but profound reading, this book is an invitation to think about one's own couple listening to the stories of others. Thus, a personal projection effect is produced by which, while talking about others, one is listening to a story with which one can identify. At a theoretical level, the various disquisitions and conceptualizations about love and the couple complete a picture of this experience that has a double objective: to improve the quality of life as a couple and to delve into the vicissitudes of love. In this book, Marcelo R. Ceberio and Raquel Maresma develop in the first part of the text some theoretical reflections on love and couples, which allow the reader to wander through different beliefs about love and relationships. The second part is made up of Therapy stories with an open ending, where the authors have compiled and fictionalized eight true stories of couples in therapy, preserving the identity of the protagonists.
"Miyamoto Musashi has gone down in history as an iconic figure. This samurai, the most famous of old Japan, represents key aspects of the bushido spirit of the land of the rising sun. He participated in some of the pivotal battles of his day that established Tokugawa rule and ushered in the long Edo period. He also developed magnificent skills in poetry, calligraphy, painting, tea ceremony, garden design and Zen meditation. He was the author of one of the classic texts on the martial arts, Go Rin No Sho, or Treatise on Five Wheels. All this makes Musashi an almost mythological figure, a poet-soldier who is still a source of inspiration today."--
