Life has changed dramatically for Ari over the past five months. She's had to leave her adoptive family behind and fake her death in order to protect them from the nefarious people trying to abduct her and abuse her newly-manifested abilities. She's met many strange and wonderful people throughout her exodus, including oracles, soldiers, artists, and the human progeny of ancient alien colonists from the Anu galaxy. If that were not enough, she has recently found out that she herself is not human at all. Now, along with her best friend Cam, Ari is traveling across the Atlantic with the mysterious Lothan Kael. He has promised to protect them from those that would do them harm, so long as Ari helps him find the remaining stones needed to return him to his home in Anu. Can they trust Kael to protect them, or is he just using them as a means to an end? As they travel the world in search of the elusive stones, and her pursuers continue to search and conspire to obtain her, Ari must learn to control her potential power before it overwhelms her and everyone around her. She must discover if she is only a slave to fate ot if she is strong enough to forge her own path and choose who and what she will ultimately become. Is she a blessing or a curse...a miracle or a monster...?
