When pastor's widow Eleanor Abraham conceives a child in a dark ritual, she claims it is the second coming of Christ. In reality, something much more sinister is afoot.
As Eleanor and her late husband's successor, Pastor Larry, begin delivering fire and brimstone teachings targeting the LGBTQIA+ community, the congregation rallies under the banner of hate. Then Eleanor falls in love with Heather, another female leader at the church, and everything changes.
When Eleanor's child begins to speak to her from the womb, she must join Heather in pursuit of the first seal of the apocalypse. Will Eleanor be able to trust in the power of love? Or is she doomed to a destiny of fear and eternal darkness?
