Being born as a necromancer, accidentally playing a part in his best friend's death, being married to a natural-born mother despite no interest in women and losing the only person who ever truly saw good in him in a fire, all that is fine. Being forced to leave town in pursuit of his brother, the only person left he can trust to care that he's being flirted with by a serial killer... not so much.
