Bag om The Little Peasant
Once lived a little peasant who had a cow which he could not feed. So he killed it. And he headed out to the city to sell its skin. On the way there a storm caught him and he begged for shelter at the miller’s house. The miller’s wife welcomed him but only with a slice of bread and cheese. Later when the peasant had laid himself, he witnessed how the parson visited the miller’s wife and they had a feast with every food you can think of. The peasant decided to "sell" what he saw to the miller. And this is how he suddenly became rich. Poor villagers thought that it was because of the cow’s skin he had sold. So they killed their cows as well. What do you think followed after they found out the truth?
