Victoria Hall, the "Grand Lady" of Gottingen Street has always been a spectacular example of French, Second Empire elaborate, decorative style of architecture in the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Its external beauty and prominence was obvious to many for almost a century and a half. However few ever ventured inside or even knew who lived there except when invited to the annual events open to the public.
