Er stellt die 969 aktiven Destillerien in 31 europäischen Ländern in Form von übersichtlich gestaltete Landkarten dar, die zum Entdecken einladen. Der Whisk(e)y Atlas North America 2021 zeigt die Bourbon/Rye/Whik(e)y-Destillerien in den USA, Kanda und Mexico.Unser neuer "Whisk(e)y Atlas North America 2021" ist die logische Konsequenz, um der rasanten Entwicklung des amerikanischen Whisk(e)ys in den letzten Jahren Rechnung zu tragen. Zumal es nicht mehr möglich ist, die Zahl der US-Whiskey Destillerien auf einer einzelnen Landkarte sinnvoll unterzubringen.Waren es 2013 in den USA noch überschaubare 300 Destillerien, wuchs deren Zahl 2016 auf über 800 Destillerien an. Aktuell sind uns 1.760 US-Whiskey Destillerien bekannt.Ähnlich auch die Entwicklung in Kanada. Dort hat sich die Zahl der Destillerien von ca. 60 im Jahre 2016 auf heute 143 mehr als verdoppelt.
