Bøger i Developments in Applied Spectroscopy serien

For the last thirteen years, the Chicago Section of the Society for Applied Spectroscopy has sponsored a symposium in the spring of each year. This should place the present symposium at a level somewhere between that of the Ohio State symposium and that of the Pittsburgh meeting, thus approaching the level of applied chemical physics.

This volume presents some of the papers from the 15th Mid-America Symposium on Spectroscopy held in Chicago on June 2-5, 1964. However, it is the opinion of the Symposium Committee that publication of the excellent material available from the Symposium provides a valuable addition to the literature in the field of spectroscopy.
