How far would you go to save yourself? Would you compromise your religion, morals, or integrity to avoid death? Twenty-seven people wake up to discover they are imprisoned in isolation cubes. They are forced to endure multiple trials in an experiment designed to test the limits of human nature. In each cube is a pistol. During any test an individual can use the gun to end the torment and take their own life. In doing so, they believe the test would immediately end for everyone and potentially save the lives of others. Would you lay down your life to save another? Would you pass the tests? It's the ultimate trial for human nature and the will to stay alive. Would you survive the experiment?
On a quiet day in March, in the small, secluded town of Lion's Glade, a nightmare begins as the citizens awake to find themselves with their memories erased. Their past lives, as well as their identities no longer exist in thought, though a single word written in marker on their forearms and documents found in their homes give clues as to who they may be.Now the challenge arises to return things to normal and figure out what caused the memories to vanish in the first place. It's a race against the clock as the citizens try to discover the hidden clues that may lead to answers, hoping they have enough time to solve the mystery before their memories are once again, Erased!
After gaining and then losing the power to heal, Andrew Gold settled back into normal life. He'd started a new business and even had a new love interest. Things were starting to look up. Then, digging at a construction site on the edge of town unearthed something evil from the past. Protestors who chained themselves to digging machinery overnight got more than they bargained for when something crawled out from deep in the ground. Signs in the night sky heralded the return of an ancient race with designs on planet Earth. Just who were the ancient cult of star watchers, with their mysterious gem-stoned rings? Everywhere was about to get a lot colder...
"It's only just a simple train journey." Ramesh said to Andrew Gold. That was true, he wasn't lying to his friend, it just happened to be the Siberian Express, the longest on Earth. Still, they knew they couldn't fly to the world's coldest city carrying an ancient alien weapon in their luggage. And what was waiting for the group of travellers at the end of this journey? "You will know it when you see it." The fate of the entire human race hinged on the success of this last mission. A titanic clash was edging closer with every passing piece of rail track. The victor would decide the fate of this perfectly placed spinning ball of rock. The loser ...dust, blown away in the breeze.
Betrayed and separated, Andrew Gold is in the worst place. Things go from bad to worse when his ex-wife threatens to move away from the area, taking their kids with her. Then, just to complicate things further, the caretaker at his new job, John, chooses him to be the recipient of his supernaturalability to heal one person of anything between dawn and dusk. Old John is retiring from the healing game and sees an auraaround Andrew; a sure sign that he is a worthy successor, but he forgets to mentionthat this mysterious gift is volatile and has some unwritten rules. Rule number one is ...don't use it for selfish reasons, which is easiersaid than done when the cause of all your misery is just within touching distance...
