"Yama the Llama is shepherding sheep in the Andes Mountains when an angel choir flies overhead. The next thing he knows, he has wings and is flying with the angels. They are singing, but he doesn't have a voice, so he wonders why he is flying with the angel choir. He continues to fly along, trusting that this is what he is supposed to do.He looks down as they fly over the stable where Jesus has just been born. He wants to stop, but an angel tells him that he has something else to do. Again, he flies along in trust. He lands in a field of sheep and shepherds and overhears the angel telling them about the baby Jesus in the stable. Then he hears the shepherds discuss the many different stables around Bethlehem and their confusion about which is the right stable. Yama steps forward, opens his mouth, and discovers that he can talk. He tells the shepherds to follow him and he leads them to the stable where they all worship Jesus, the newborn King of kings! "Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God." Matt 5:8"

"Yama the Llama carries a load of bread for his friend, Micah. There is a large gathering of people sitting on a hillside outside the city listening to Jesus preach. Micah's father tells him to go there to sell the bread and, if he sells all 16 loaves, he can buy a treat for himself and Yama. They are looking forward to a sweet fig that they will share. But, as they walk along the streets of the city and out through the gates, they meet hungry people. Instead of selling the bread, they give it away. By the time they get to the hillside, there are only 5 loaves left. Jesus' disciple, Andrew, asks Micah to give him the 5 loaves, so that the crowd can have something to eat. Micah gives Andrew the bread and 2 dried fish that he was going to eat for his lunch. Andrew takes the bread and fish to Jesus. After Jesus blesses the bread and fish, there is enough to feed all 5000 people.Just as Yama and Micah are leaving, Andrew chases them down and gives them 2 figs. "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." Matt 5:7"

"Yama the Llama is carrying blankets down a mountain to sell in the village below when he is caught in an earthquake. The shaking causes him to lose all but one blanket from his load.He closes his eyes and prays. When he opens his eyes, he is not on the mountain, but is at Calvary, in front of the dead body of Jesus hanging on the cross. He sees two men weeping. He overhears them say that they are sad because they have nothing to use to wrap Jesus' body for burial. Yama has a linen blanket left on his back from the earthquake. He offers it to the men. The offer brings the men comfort as they wrap Jesus' body for burial. Yama follow the men to a garden where he watches them place Jesus' body in a tomb. Then he fall asleep. He is awakened when the stone in front of the tomb is rolled away. An angel explains that Jesus is no longer in the tomb. Yama looks across the garden and see Jesus standing and talking with a woman--He's alive! "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." Matt 5:4"
