I dag står Maurice Ravel så som et af debetydeligste og mest virtuose, opfindsomme og populære navne i det tyvendeårhundredes musik. Drabelige fortællinger er dybt originale noveller, skrevet med sin helt egen stemme og stilistisk i en kategori for sig selv. Quirinys noveller overrasker hele tiden læseren, og når man som læser tror, at man har regnet plottet ud, tager novellen en drejning. Ofte i en humoristisk eller sarkastisk retning. Bernard Quiriny er født i Belgien i 1978. Quiriny er forfatter og professor i offentlig ret. Quiriny er fuldstændig ukendt i Danmark, men har skrevet flere prisbelønnede novellesamlinger. Franske stemmer –captations littéraires er ti bud på, hvordan fransksproget litteratur tagersig ud netop nu. Vi har inviteret ti fremtrædende forfattere fra Frankrig,Belgien og den tidligere franske koloni Burkina Faso til at skrive en tekstsærligt til bogen her – og de har fået helt frie hænder.Det er der kommet både digte, noveller, essays oggenreeksperimenter ud af, som i al deres forskellighed viser spændvidden på denfransksprogede litterære scene. Vi har valgt at lade de danske oversættelserledsages af de originale franske tekster for at synliggøre den proces – ellertransformation – en tekst gennemgår, når den rejser til et nyt land og et nytsprog.En del af forfatterne har allerede egne værker udgivet pådiverse danske forlag. Andre introduceres for første gang på dansk. Fælles for forfatterneer, at de alle har været inviteret til Danmark af Dansk selskab for nyfransksproget litteratur gennem selskabets første 5 års levetid – til forfattermøderpå litteraturfestivaler, i bogcaféer og i universitetsregi. Og netop under etaf disse arrangementer spirede idéen til bogen her.Ordet captationi den franske del af titlen har vi lånt fra en af forfatternes tekster. Det kanbåde betyde ’opfangelse’ (konkret og i overført betydning), ’besnæring’ og ’afbildningaf virkeligheden i et (kunst)værk’. På den måde udtrykker det meget fint bogensoverordnede ønske om at indfange, inspirere og initiere (nye) læsere til denfransksprogede litteratur.

Jeg var en del af en gruppe på 12 personer, som brugte ventetiden til at tale sammen om hvad der nu skulle ske, når vi kom til fremmedlegionens uddannelsesregiment i byen Castelnaudary. Det var blevet koldt i vejret og vi frøs, mens vi talte sammen. En korporal stak sit hoved ud af et vindue og sagde, at jeg skulle holde min kæft, jeg sagde med klar stemme javel, mens jeg smilede venligt til ham. Så tog fanden ved ham. Han kom farende hen imod mig, som om han var skudt ud af en kanon. Han tog mig om halsen og klemte til, mens han skreg, så mundsavlet ramte mig i ansigtet, at han ikke ville høre min stemme mere i dag. Det hele kom som et chok for mig, så jeg fremstammede med et nervøst lille smil på læben, at jeg nok skulle holde mund. Hvis han før var rasende, så blev han nu helt vild. Han skreg af mig, mens han slæbte mig ind i bygningen. Han skubbede mig ind i et tomt rum med en sådan kraft, at jeg faldt bagover. Han sparkede mig en gang i siden og mens jeg lå ned kunne jeg se vildskaben i hans øjne. Det nåede heldigvis ikke at udvikle sig til mere, da en anden korporal kom ind og sagde, at han skulle tage det roligt, for det var min første dag og jeg skulle lige vænne mig til denne levevis. På vej ud af bygningen sagde han på engelsk, at han ikke ville se mig grine mere, mens jeg var i legionen, hvilket han fik ret i.

Bogen er en ungdomsroman, der handler om 2 tvillingedrenges opvækst i et krigshærget land. De sættes i pleje på landet hos deres grusomme, ondskabsfulde og alligevel til tider følsomme bedstemor.I en række småepisoder fortæller drengene os nøgternt om deres dagligdag, arbejdet hos bedstemoderen, uddannelsen, den hårde vinter, postbudet, venskabet med præstens tjenestepige, deres mors forfærdelige død, bedstemoderens sygdom, faderens tilbagevenden og tvillingernes endelige adskillelse. Alt fortalt i et meget letlæseligt sprog.

Den franske forfatter Stéphane Mallarmé blev med sin grænsesøgende poesi en af 1800-tallets mest betydningsfulde digtere. Hans tanker og ideer kan genfindes i alt lige fra nyere fransk filosofi til moderne avantgardekunst. Alligevel har Le maître næsten altid været forbeholdt de få, en digternes digter, mens han for den almindelige læser har opnået ry som forfinet, utilgængelig og uoversættelig.Det søger Musikken, verset, poesien - tekster af og om Stéphane Mallarmé at råde bod på. Bogen præsenterer i nye danske oversættelser Mallarmés sonetter, det legendariske, uafsluttede prosadigt Igitur samt en række af hans opsatser om poesiens væsen. In this dissertation, we analyze Cândido de Figueiredo's linguistic thinking, which was often rigorous and normative in its descriptive approach to different grammatical phenomena. The first, between Cândido de Figueiredo and Paulino de Brito, deals with the placement of clitic pronouns, from a comparative perspective between Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese; the second, between Cândido de Figueiredo and Heráclito Graça, covers issues of morphology and syntax, again within a normative framework, which points to certain innovative uses in the literary writing of Brazilian authors as errors. Our aim is to examine Cândido de Figueiredo's speeches and place them in the historical, social and cultural context of his time, so as to enable a more accurate assessment of his conservative ideas.
