The author of this book, who used to live in another Nordic country returned to Denmark after retiring from an academic career and decided to explore the nature, woodlands and shoreline around Nyborg. The daily promenade with "Mr Carl", the mini-dackshund gave access to many beautiful experiences and insights.The author has been involved in the study of stress related diseases for many years and has developed an understanding of how nature has the ability to restore both body and mind with its` “healing power”, by reducing stress as well as giving the mind a sense of "peace" The aim of this book is to inspire others to be more open to nature and thus improve their wellbeing and good health.
