The theatre is packed, the popcorn is still warm and severely overpriced, and the curtains are about to open for the first time. Horror fans have gathered for the annual FearFest convention, and this year, despite the myriad reboots and remakes, an anxious buzz permeates the theatre. It is the premiere of Larry 3D (or Larry 3-SQUEEE, thanks to the assholes behind its marketing campaign). Based upon true events (no, seriously!), the film recreates the rise, demise, and reanimation of Larry 'Pigface' Travers - a remarkable performance by Willem Dafoe which critics are already calling, "Unhinged!" and, "Truly awful!".But when the film starts rolling, the terror becomes all too real. Somehow, Pigface has passed through the dimensions, escaped the movie and landed himself slap-bang in the middle of reality. And now he has a theatre filled with horny teenagers to butcher. Magically pursuing a group of survivors in and out of classic horror films - Psycho, Dawn of the Dead, Suspiria, and an accidental stop-off in Labyrinth (where a battle with Jareth's crotch almost sends him back to the grave) - Pigface targets his highest body-count to date.Only one man can stop him.And that man is Willem Dafoe

"Chilling and frightfully relevant. A remarkable debut." Adam Millard, author of DEAD CELLS and SKINNERS When a black youth dies under suspicious circumstances in police custody, and they refuse to release his body, rioting erupts, running the length of the country, copycat behaviour occurring in nearly every major city. From London to Manchester, shops are looted; businesses burnt down to the ground, feral anarchy claiming the streets. Decent, hard-working people are forced out of their homes as tens of thousands of people take to the streets, outnumbering the police, rendering them powerless, the underprivileged majority sick of having no job, no hope, no future. Ethan Hardcastle knows about these senseless riots. Like millions of others, he has been glued to the TV, watching the news, but it's not his problem. There's nothing he can do about it. However, soon the security of living away from the pulsating heart of the city is fundamentally tested when the sound of the dining room window shattering fills him with horror: the looters are inside his home. "National Emergency is a terrifying, blow-by-blow account of one family's descent into Hell. Unforgettable." Jeremy Peterson, author of A Devil in God's Country

Happily ever after is a thing of the past. As long as there are children in the world, there will be fairy tales. Since the dawn of time, parents have passed down legends and stories to their children, and parents will probably continue telling these stories until the end of time. Of course, the fairy tales of tomorrow won't be the same stories of today. What will these tales of the future be like? Well, there will be dragons, though they may be robotic dragons created to capture a "princess" in a war-torn world. There will obviously be queens, witches, and frog princes, though not like any you've seen before. And of course, as with any fairy tale, there will be magic and mayhem galore. Forget happily ever after... This is Happily Never After - where dystopian science fiction meets the fairy tales of days gone by.

It's a normal day in The Fox with Two Dicks. Marla the Stereotypical Barmaid is serving; Trevor McDougal has fallen asleep in his bitter; Sid the Extra isn't up to much, since he's not really meant to be in this scene; in the corner sit two likeable gents. John Mackey and Alan Brewster. It's all very pleasant, if you like that sort of thing. Then, in walk The Barry Boys - the miscreants of the village - with news of a DeLorean in a derelict car-park up on Charlie Chaplin Street. Their plan, to steal the mythical vehicle and joyride the hell out of it. What could possibly go wrong? Dinosaurs, of course! Can Alan and John save the day, put the past and the future right once again, stop The Barry Boys from fornicating with Margaret Thatcher back in 1985 - the event which started the dino-apocalypse - and decide which one of them is going to get the girl at the end of the story? Probably not, but it'll be fun trying.

Simian Knight PI had been shot at once before. Well, not technically shot at, but the bullet had gone past his head. Well, not really past his head, inasmuch as it went past his office building and embedded itself in someone's car. It didn't so much embed in the car as bounce off, as it was one of those foam bullets kids stuff in the end of play guns and run around going, "Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da" with. But the whole unsavoury episode had unsettled Simian Knight PI so much that he became a recluse, took to drinking herbal tea and watching reruns of Downton Abbey until he dreamed of butlers. That was a long time ago, and he got over it. Now he must face his biggest challenge, whena beautiful blonde dame waltzes into his office asking for his help. The trouble is, Simian Knight PI can never say no to a beautiful blonde dame, even if helping her means going up against the mob. Not to mention all the Greek Gods knocking about the city, too. It's his toughest case yet, and it just might be his last, which would be a shame asthere's plenty of potential for a sequel.
