    Several decades ago in the teaching field finding English for Specific Purposes (ESP)/specialized textbooks in the streams such as: mechanical engineering, carpentry, Electricity, Construction, sewing/tailoring, electronics... is a real problem in Africa, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo. ESL/EFL teachers are obliged to provide English lessons in these streams but they are stumped by the scarcity of textbooks. This book is one of the responses to students and professionals working in tailoring/dressmaking field. After our investigations more than 60% of teachers in the DRC (experienced and fresh teachers) face this dilemma and this handicaps the improvement of teaching.
