The stories collected herein are not for the faint-hearted. Nineteen dark tales from the imagination of Andy Evans: "[some] are short, sharp jabs to the psyche, others are longer spirals of nightmarish descent". - WENDY KING Each story is unsettling. Nothing here is quite as it would seem. Some being so terrifying as to frequent your dreams and leave you floundering, longing for the relative sanctuary of the daylight hours. In 'Gravity' a man walks along the highway, compelled towards a specific place, haunted by his past and a growing sense of déjà-vu. 'Evolution of the Werewolf' flips the werewolf myth upon it's head. 'Hiija' is about two rival horror writers and the deadly woman who inspires them both. While 'We Who Dwell Behind The Veil' explores why you should never be mean to your little sister. And there are others waiting in the darkness, too.
Mobile robots are automatic machines capable of moving without human intervention and performing certain actions. Mobile robotics is an emerging discipline of robotics and information technology that deals with the development of mobile robots. It is solution-oriented discipline, which involves the application of concepts from information technology, engineering science, artificial intelligence and cognitive sciences. Designing a mobile robot requires designing the different mechanical parts and developing a control system for the robot. Mobile robots are used in medical facilities to move patients, assist with surgical procedures, gather and transport supplies, and disinfect rooms. In agriculture, farmers use mobile robots for maintaining, measuring and harvesting fresh produce. This book traces the progress of the field of mobile robotics and highlights some of its key design concepts, methods and applications. It strives to provide a fair idea about this discipline and help develop a better understanding of the latest advances within this field. As this field is emerging at a rapid pace, the contents of this book will help the readers understand the modern concepts and applications of the subject.
A mobile robot is an automatic machine that is capable of moving around in a physical environment. Mobile robotics is a subfield of robotics and information engineering concerned with the research and development of mobile robots. This field integrates the technological advancements in machine learning with physical environment, which enables the mobile robots to navigate their surroundings. Mobile robots can be classified into autonomous mobile robots and non-autonomous mobile robots. Autonomous robots do not require any external guidance for locomotion, while non-autonomous mobile robots move with the assistance of a guidance system. Mobile robots have applications in hospitals, industries and military. This book is a compilation of chapters that discuss the most vital concepts and emerging trends in the field of mobile robotics. A number of latest researches have been included to keep the readers up-to-date with the global concepts in this area of study. The book aims to serve as a resource guide for students and experts alike and contribute to the growth of the discipline.

The following pages give an account of a twenty year search to uncover the mystery that had surrounded grandfather for the entirety of his life that he had spent living in the United Kingdom. All that was ever known of him were the basic facts that he was Serbian by nationality (although I was later to discover that he in fact lived in Bosnia) and that he was never to return to his native homeland again. The book is like that of a split personality, two sides that would never see the other until the final chapters were acknowledged, recorded and written together. It describes my own early recollections of the man and the time I would spend in his presence throughout childhood and teenage years until his death in 1988. The other persona tells of the other side that was left behind in Bosnia. The happiness, ever wandering, the horrors and finally, as the first one is uncovered, the understanding and joining together of both as finally one.The search would be a relentless task searching for a man that had no records of his existence prior to his displacement in 1946. Searching a country whose own bloodlust and carnage has seen whole generations of people and records of them disappear forever. A country whose varied people are so secretive in their own right and often hide their own pasts with a passion.
