Dog and Cat probably are friends, but they'll never admit it in public. Living in the same house, they have similar interests, such as bodgering in the garage or gardening when the weather is fine. The City of Light The City of Light project stems from one man's vision. That man is Anthony John, a coach and businessman who now devotes his life to the project which has its base in Glastonbury. Anthony experienced a profound calling to create an ethical eco-society, based on spiritual values. Physically, he saw this city as a modern day interpretation of an Atlantean healing temple. The City of Light can be seen as a social experiment, a community where everyone involved plays an intrinsic part in maintaining the fabric of the city whether they physically live in it or whether they support the project from elsewhere in the world. The intention is to find a new way forward for mankind, a new way of living. The path is one of sharing, community, harmony and respect for all life on the planet as well as the Earth herself. Humanity has reached a turning point. It's time to wake up, to step up and live more consciously. Not everyone will have the courage, but those open enough and willing enough to live in a place of love, truth and trust will forge the path for a new harmonious civilisation. History shows us how just one person acting on a decision can set off a chain reaction that changes the world. Ideas, at one time believed impossible, take root and grow. Suddenly the impossible is very possible. The City of Light project is for people who have a spiritual calling, an inner knowing that they're here for a greater purpose. This project exists to bring people together and act as a catalyst for those ready to make a difference. The vision is fluid and flexible, the story it tells is of an ideal. It will take will and determination to create the reality, and a dedication to personal growth. It will also take belief - a belief that conscious people coming together CAN make this happen.
