No Room For Love is a play for five men and four women. Dr Garfield arrives at the somewhat seedy Lawns Hotel in the hope of spending an enjoyable, if discreet, visit with his attractive receptionist, Michele. Unfortunately, however, his wife is the harpist in an orchestra also visiting the hotel, which makes his excuse of a golfing excursion difficult to sustain.4 women, 5 men
When Mr Pullen comes to the office on a Saturday to finish the books for audit, he's astonished to find his employer, Sir Justin Holbrook, in the penthouse flat with a call girl. Unexpectedly, Lady Holbrook arrives and Holbrook passes the girl off as the second Mrs Pullen. A rich Arab sheikh is expected and England's entire fate depends on Holbrook signing an agreement with him, but Holbrook suddenly collapses and Pullen has to impersonate him. The arrival of the real Mrs Pullen and others leads to an impenetrable maze of confused identities eventually resulting in Mrs Pullen going off with the sheikh and Pullen installed, presumably permanently, as Sir Justin with all that entails, including his highly attractive Lady.3 women, 6 men
When his wife, Elizabeth, runs off with Ronald, the Major decides to solve his debt problems by letting the basement flat of his wife's house - to two different tenants simultaneously! The Major's resourcefulness is stretched to breaking point but after a wild confusion of mistaken identities, awkward confrontations and hectic misunderstandings, all ends happily for the Major and assorted tenants.4 women, 4 men
So Mr. Lockwood, the unfortunate builder of this modern monstrosity, gets his Sales Manager, Nigel Pitt, to pretend to be the current owner in order to make a more effective 'sell' to the first prospective buyers in years. To give an additional touch of authenticity he engages an actress to play the part of Nigel's wife, just while Sir Lindsay and Lady Cooper have their look round. But the real complications start when the Coopers are fogbound and have to stay the night-and turn out not to be husband and wife at all.-6 women, 6 men
Despite his hobby of fighting battles with toy soldiers, Edward is a mild person and he is about to experience an evening he will never forget. He works at the Continental Telephone Exchange where his pompous brother-in-law is his supervisor. Edward often 'chats up' women operators in various exchanges. These affairs by proxy suddenly explode in his face when four glamorous females travel to London to compete in the Miss Europhone Contest and arrive at this home anxious to meet the flirtatious Mr London in the flesh.6 women, 3 men
This riotous comic farce notched up a staggeringly successful sixteen-year run in the West End. Peter and Frances could reasonably expect to look forward to a calm, happy start to their married life together. Owing to an unfortunate mistake, however, they find themselves inundated with pornographic material from the "Scandinavian Import Company". Senior bank officials, Peter's snobbish mother, and a prim, respectable bank cashier become inextricably entangled in the rumbustious events that follow.-4 women, 6 men
