A man approaching the end of his days is offered an opportunity by Death to extend his life. He stayed close to Adolf at all times as he rose to his position as leader of Germany and advised him on all matters of ideology, politics, moral interpretation and how and when to wage his battles, turning him gradually into a force of evil.Sensing danger, the Lord intervened and made a wager with Ledeville that he could change Adolf to a force for good."And if I win?" Ledeville asked."Humanity and the world are yours," the Lord replied.Amused, the Evil One accepted the wager, fully aware of men's gradual rejection of the Lord's ways which had weakened him considerably over the years. Ledeville intended to use his youthfulness and energy to outwit and oust the ageing Lord and rule over the whole universe.Adolf followed Ledeville's instructions and became a ferocious, unforgiving warrior. Despite this apparent ferocity, he was in fact a plaything in Ledeville's hands as he was guided and pushed relentlessly towards decisions that would finally bring apocalypse to the earth, Ledeville's ultimate goal.Will the Lord finally regain his powers and save the world from absolute destruction, or will he lose his wager and let humanity go to the Devil?......
