In the weeks that followed, he penned his fourth poetry collection detailing his adjustment to life in the United States of America. In Stanzas from the Sunshine, Mr. Melley explores life in his new home while still battling his demons from the past.

On September 7, 2014, C. D. Melley traveled by train for a day in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. While riding the rails, his muse hit him, and he composed this short collection of poetry.With Slammin' on the Rails, the author of "The Prairie Fire Within" offers the fruits of his day away.

In 2020, the world came to grips with a global pandemic. Billions were told to self-isolate to protect themselves from the spread of a deadly virus, among them was author and poet, C. D. Melley. As a way to cope with having to stay at home, he has composed this collection of poetry during his time of living in lockdown.
