This book focuses on the correlation between letter sounds and letter shapes. In this book, we are not primarily concerned with knowing the name of each letter. Nor are we focusing on letter sound variations or long vowels. As the child advances, then feel free to introduce letter sound variations. You may also notice, in this book, I am concentrating on the shape of the lowercase letters before introducing uppercase formations later. Why I wrote this book... When I was teaching, I could not find an alphabet book that contained all of the teaching components I was looking for. One, all the letters had to have word examples that represented the true sounds the letters make. Two, I carefully chose words all children could identify with. This book is geared towards those children who may not have been exposed to a vast array of words. Three, it is important for the child to connect the sound, visual letter representation, and real-life examples together with motion. That is why they form the letters as they hear and say them.

This is a story about a little girl named Kailee. It takes you through the journey of a 3 year old girl and her quest to tell you her life story. She is the younger sister of Parker, and a daughter to Josh and Brooke.

Using an Eagle as our guide, this book takes you through life's journey. From the eye of an eagle, it begins life as it yells across the nation, determined to be heard. Noble and regal, the eagle guides and protects. With its nest perched high up on a mountainside, the eagle watches over his land, as he learns what it takes to survive. This book will take you through time, as the eagle ages. Just as time goes on, we too, must change as we go through each stage of life. With change comes opportunity. So, we look to the eagle who is our guide. We learn from the eagle, to be motivated and strong, to set goals and never give up, to have the faith in what it takes to make a difference in the world, and always seek the Creator who made you with specific purposes in mind.
