AB92 er de almindeligt gældende betingelser i dansk entrepriseret. Med AB92 indførtes i AB92 § 46 et nyt system med sagkyndige beslutninger, der kan tage stilling til tvister om udbetalinger fra stillede sikkerheder og bygherrens tilbagehold i betalinger til entreprenøren.På grundlag af 10 års erfaringer med § 46-systemet og det betydelige antal sager om sagkyndig beslutning, har forfatteren foretaget en beskrivelse ogstatistisk bearbejdning af § 46-systemet. Da en tilsvarende fremstilling ikke tidligere er foretaget, og da § 46-systemet anvendes af en række aktører i bygge- og anlægsbranchen, har forfatteren valgt at gøre beskrivelsen af de forskellige juridiske problemstillinger bredere, således at fremstillingen umiddelbart kan anvendes, også af branchens parter.

Almindelige betingelser i bygge- og anlægsvirksomhed blev revideret i 2018 med nye aftalevilkår for entrepriseaftaler (AB 18/ABT 18) og rådgiveraftaler (ABR 18). Med AB 18 er reglerne om garantistillelse i entrepriseaftaler og sagkyndige beslutninger blevet moderniseret, og hurtige afgørelser er indført som et nyt middel for tidligere løsning af tvister i byggeriet. Denne bog er en opdatering af ”AB 92 § 46 og 400 sager om beslutninger om stillet sikkerhed” med indarbejdelse af ny praksis om entreprisegarantier og sagkyndige beslutninger. Endvidere beskrives reglerne for hurtige afgørelser, der sammen med sagkyndige beslutninger forventes at føre til forandringer i byggeriets håndtering af tvister.
