Once upon a time, Zachary was a tiny baby, and guess what? He got to meet his very first au pair right after he was born! Her name was Natalia, and she came all the way from Colombia to help take care of him. As Zachary grew bigger, he and Natalia became the best of friends. They did lots of fun things together like swimming in the pool, flipping and jumping at gymnastics, and even flying on an airplane to visit Natalia's family in Colombia! But then came a day when Natalia had to go back home for good. It was really sad, but they promised to stay in touch forever. They gave each other big hugs and said goodbye, knowing that they would always be special friends no matter how far apart they were. Zachary felt thankful for all the cool adventures he had with Natalia, and he knew that they would meet again someday. This story is all about Zachary and Natalia's fun and heartwarming friendship. Even though they have to say goodbye for now, their friendship will always stay strong, like the best kind of treasure. This story is a great way to help a child transition from one loving care taker to another, and begin the conversation about how hard goodbyes can be, even if they aren't forever.
Cancer. The word strikes fear just by thinking it. When someone you know gets that diagnoses, you may sympathize and offer comforting words. On the inside you are hoping it never strikes too close to home. Sadly, more than likely someone you love is being diagnosed as you read this. This is a journey I would not wish upon my worst enemy. It is rather difficult just writing what really was to our family... Our Darkest Hour, The Walk of Life

Arts Camp provides practical, concrete instruction that a church needs to plan, organize, staff, and conduct an annual five-day Arts Camp, including guidance on logistics, funding, finding art instructors (within both the local church and the broader community), ideas for structuring and scheduling the five days of camp, and a celebration on the Sunday following camp. Each chapter includes details on art projects, programming, music, drama, games, and resources. Less-packaged, more theologically and pedagogically appropriate, thoughtful, and community-based alternative for Vacation Bible School. A way for churches to conduct an artful exploration of faith"
