In 2004 my family and I packed up our lives in England and headed across the channel to start all over again in Normandy, France. The Pastis Adventures tells the tale of how we integrated ourselves into a rural community in Normandy and highlights the laughs, adventures, frustrations and the good friends we encountered along the way. Helpful hints, comic scenarios and at timles the plain daft but hand on heart it is all true. Thank you Pastis, you will be the ruin of me.
12 new songs and poems written during december 2012 and january 2013, also includes four extra poems as a sample of the other collections available. enjoy.

The story of one man's search for a life long remembered whose search touches the lives of so many, directly and indirectly, the inter-connectedness of us all. Marianne is a series of vignettes of life in one day, stories that bleed together with no distinction as the reader tracks each tale through feats of memory. This is a search for a life once lived, a life that has been and a life that could be that life less ordinary.
All of the poems contained in this slim volume were written during the single month of October. It was the idea of the project to write one poem on each day of the month and as the day ended to work no longer on that piece so each one remains as it was finished at midnight on that day. There may be a theme of darkness present, events unfolding at night that is due to the fact I work at night. It was not intentional. Some works I remain unhappy with and others work as intended but they will always remain as they are and I offer no apologies for any missing punctuation, if the time had gone the time had gone and they must live as they stand. It was not my intention to comment on events that occurred on that specific day either in the now or from the past but merely to write the thoughts that came to mind. Sometimes ideas for other poems popped into my thoughts as I wrote but for reasons of this work they had to be left, some were remembered during the month and have found their way in the others I hope will one day return to me to be written down. I present this work as it is and make no apologies should anyone find it unreadable or beyond comprehension for after all, it is a slim work but it is mine own.
No one on the remote Welsh island of Broadholm suspects the incredible truth behind the sudden reign of terror that begins after the entire island's livestock go berserk. The ravens that inhabit the island's dark and sinister looking Devil's Tower subsequently embark on a series of horrifically vicious attacks that defy the investigation of Detective Sergeant Rory McNair. At first suspecting black magic, it was not until the unconventional detective discovers that one of the victims was researching both the history of the tower and its guardian ravens that he is able to glean the true nature of the horrendous forces at work.
'Policing is like this everywhere but not everywhere is Scilly'Meet Sergeant Colin Taylor, he has been a valuable member of the police force for over 20 years, 5 of which have been spent policing the 'quiet' Isles of Scilly, a group of islands off the southwestern tip of the Cornish peninsula.
