A sister used to say, "If I can't be the tablecloth, I'll don't want to be the dish rag." Bless her heart; she had it all backward. Tablecloths are primarily ornamental. The ABCs of Walking in the Way is based on Psalm 119, which is the longest of all the psalms, having 176 verses divided into twenty-two strophes or paragraphs. The title of the book is derived from the fact that each line of each strophe of the psalm begins with a letter of the Hebrew alphabet, beginning with the first letter called the "Alef" and ending with the last letter "Tav"-thus, the ABCs. Verse, one pronounces a blessing on the blameless-"who walk in the way of the law of the Lord."
