SHARING THE GOSPEL THE DOCTRINE OF EVANGELISM A BIBLICAL HANDBOOKThis book explains God's plan to create a kingdom for His Son from eternity past and how each person of the Trinity is involved. It articulates the gospel message and the role man plays in its proclamation. It describes the schemes Satan uses to disrupt the gospel's advance and how to stand firm against him. It chronicles the numerous reactions the good news might receive from people and how Christians can respond to them. Written in a simple, straightforward style, this book describes all aspects of evangelism. God, the Father, has given Christians the amazing privilege and responsibility of sharing this incredible good news. May this book excite and incite all who read them to offer eternal life to everyone they know and encounter in daily life. All must know that Jesus is the only way to heaven. The positive aspects of the sharing of the gospel in this text have been reproduced in a new book entitled LEADING THE WAY. Every chapter begins with a typical scenario in which the gospel could be shared and ends with an ancient portrait and modern example of the principle taught. The chapter finishes with a personal prayer to the Lord you may use. A workbook companion can also be acquired for group study. If you lead the group study, there is an instructor's manual with the original book reproduced and the workbook questions with suggested answers from the text. Do you know some who may be researching the various conspiracy theories concerning the illuminati, freemasonry, school shootings, terrorist attacks, chemtrails, geo-engineering of the weather, the manipulation of the DNA of both humans and animals, and diseases. Ultimately, they may have come to understand that unseen forces are instigating world-wide chaos to drive it to the brink of destruction in order to take control of it all. They may have the disturbing feeling that they are not benign but very sinister. Have they become uncertain and fearful with this newly discovered world view without knowing the Lord and Savior? Or, perhaps, you or they are not sure and need the sense of safety and refuge the gospel can bring to their troubled hearts which comes in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Then give them this book. We learn in the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15 that the son's heart was not ready to turn to God until he had found himself in a terrible situation. Once all his money had been squandered, a famine had devastated the land, and he was starving, he finally looked up to God for help. Often, Christians think that these circumstances are the worst times to bring up the gospel when they are actually the best times. It is these dark moments that God will use to call them to His Son. In His Son Jesus they can find peace and security as God ushers them into His kingdom. Isn't this what happened to the thief on the cross? This is one in a series of brief books which present the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are experiencing a major crisis in their lives. It is designed to help them take the first and most important step in handling their problems by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The first chapter of each book begins by addressing the difficult circumstances they may be facing. The subsequent chapters share the true gospel of Jesus Christ and how it is truly good news in handling their problems now but also the greater problem of judgment in eternity. They will see how salvation in Him is the real solution and first step in their journey to recovery now and an eternity of blessing. Give this book as a gift to your friends, family, co-workers, fellow students, neighbors, and even acquaintances so they can hear the gospel and have a chance to receive the Lord as He calls to them during these critical moments. To aid in this endeavor, there is a personal greeting that you can sign and add comments to in the front of the book to set the stage for further conversation. Often, Christians think that these circumstances are the worst times to bring up the gospel when they are actually the best times. It is these dark moments that God will use to call them to His Son. In His Son Jesus they can find peace and calm as God ushers them into His kingdom. Isn't this what happened to the thief on the cross? This is one in a series of brief books which present the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are experiencing a major disaster in their lives. This will remove any uneasiness that either of you may feel once the book is given. If this is not necessary, simply tear it out. This book discusses how the true gospel can bring calm to a troubled heart. The book has topics which include finding calm as one nears death, being born again, experiencing God's love for all mankind, seeking Christ's kingdom, turning from sin, repenting and confessing sin, believing in Christ, receiving Jesus as Savior and submitting to Him as Lord, affirming Christ's miracles, fulfilled prophecies, and resurrection, loving Christ in a relationship, depending on faith alone, proclaiming Christ in baptism, accepting Christ's forgiveness, enjoying God's blessings, anticipating our inheritance, and living for Christ. You can use the book to share your faith or give it to someone who needs Christ. This evangelistic book will speak to spouses in marriage, partners in dating, parents and children, friends, neighbors, co-workers, fellow students, acquaintances, and strangers. You are given Scriptural principles backed by bible verses. You will find many concepts of salvation that can be used as quotes. This book can be used in the church or home bible studies. May the Lord bless you as you share His gospel with others. Other titles in this series are Comfort Amid Life's Pain-Filled Moments, Content Amid Life's Empty Moments, Courage Amid Life's Tragic Moments, Faith Amid Life's Wrong Turns, Grace Amid Life's Wayward Moments, Hope Amid Life's Depressing Moments, Love Amid Life's Broken Relationships, Peace Amid Life's Anxious Moments, Purpose Amid Life's Aimless Moments, Trust Amid Life's Financial Crises, and Safe Amid The World's Chaos and Conspiracies.
This book is an instructor's manual based on the three group study books of the same name. This instructor's manual is divided into three parts which correspond with each study book. The text of the three books is reproduced exactly with a few minor exceptions. Within the text of each chapter, I have interspersed many additional notes. These important sections include explanations of words and phrases, more details from the biblical examples I have provided, key verses written out in full, and short theological studies of scriptural truths that govern numerous specific situations which are mentioned throughout the book. After each chapter, you will find the corresponding workbook questions with the answers taken from the main books. These additional notes and answers are in script in order for you to distinguish them from what the members of your group will be reading. The introductions and conclusions of the three group books, workbooks, and manual appear at the beginning and end of this work. The purpose of this tool is to provide you, as the leader, with as much help as necessary to facilitate a powerful discussion in which the Holy Spirit can work in the proper understanding of His Word as it is applied to the many relationships the members of your group may have. For individual study these three books grew out of one book with the same name (A Personal Study) which also has a workbook companion. For a quick read there is an abridged edition (A Book Short) which can also be purchased.
HEALING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH FORGIVENESS EXPERIENCING GOD'S GRACE FOR OURSELVES A WORKBOOK COMPANION FOR GROUP STUDY PART 1This workbook of the same name is designed to aid in your comprehension and application of the truths from the Scriptures which are explained in the book. It has a question and answer format because asking questions was a powerful teaching method that Jesus used to reveal God's divine truth. In His instruction to the people of God and others, the Lord asked over one hundred and thirty questions. Those mentioned in the gospels were only the recorded ones. We can only speculate as to how many questions He might have actually asked. The Lord Jesus Christ used His questioning techniques for the purpose of prompting His listeners to focus, understand, analyze, evaluate, and apply the divine principles He was proclaiming to them. The author has attempted to do the same in this workbook. May you find God's great wisdom as you ponder the answers to these questions. This is the workbook which supports the first book in a series of three smaller books for group study based on a larger comprehensive version (A Personal Study). If you lead the group study, there is an instructor's manual with additional notes and the workbook questions with suggested answers from the text. For a quick read there is an abridged edition (A Book Short) which can also be purchased. This book discusses topics such as confession of sin, repentance of sin, forgiveness by God, self-forgiveness, forgiveness of others, and accepting God's forgiveness. This can involve spouses in marriage, partners in dating, parents and children, friends, neighbors, co-workers, fellow students, acquaintances, and strangers. You are given Scriptural principles backed by bible verses. You will find many concepts about forgiveness that can be used as quotes. May you find healing for your relationships as you read. Additional topics: This workbook is about healing relationships through forgiveness and experiencing God's grace for ourselves which is a companion for part 1 of a group study, a workbook for a group on forgiveness, forgive me, to forgive in interpersonal relationships, and dating.
HEALING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH FORGIVENESS REQUESTING GOD'S GRACE FROM OTHERS A GROUP STUDY PART 2This is the second book in a series of three which grew out of the desire and need for the material in the book of the same name (A Personal Study) to be put into a shorter format for study in various groups. We are involved in many relationships in our homes, churches, schools, workplaces, cities, and even social media. They can provide many blessings and benefits in our lives but when things go wrong they may cause great pain, heartache, and suffering. When a relationship "breaks," how can it be restored? What should be said and done to repair the damage? Will you ever be able to heal from the wounds that might have occurred? The Lord's answer is "Yes!" His divine blueprint is healing relationships through forgiveness. This will assist you in first asking God and then others for forgiveness. You will learn how to forgive yourself and others no matter how great the wrong. You will even discover how to gain the divine power necessary to refresh and restore every aspect of the relationship. Every chapter opens with a typical scenario in which the principle may be applied. A scriptural principle and biblical explanation is provided to guide you in your study. Then an ancient portrait is presented which demonstrates how Jesus, Peter, Paul, and others lived out these very principles. A modern portrait of a counseling session follows which details how the author was able to apply these critical principles in different circumstances. Each chapter concludes with a prayer to the Lord you may use. A workbook companion can also be purchased to guide your study. If you lead the group study, there is an instructor's manual with additional notes and the workbook questions with suggested answers from the text. This book describes the second step in our spiritual journey toward dealing with some of the most difficult problems that life can bring. The first series of gospel books which preceded this book dealt with the essential issues that people face and described exactly how receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord could bring relief. Through our salvation, much of the stress and strain of the difficulties we face are eliminated as we redefine our lives as now in Him and as the Spirit begins to indwell us. Yet, due to our fallen humanity, we might still be struggling with some of these old issues while encountering new ones. We may still experience emptiness, fear of death, torment, pain-filled bodies, desperation facing tragedies, regret for past actions, guilt for past sins, despair, broken hearts, anxiety, a lack of purpose, or financial uncertainty. Much of this agony can be tackled by embracing all that the Christian life can offer. As God's people become more and more involved in this incredible supernatural adventure, they will discover more and more freedom from the chains that bind them. They will find themselves caught up in the many powerful pursuits of the kingdom of God.
The purpose of this book is to help the group leader facilitate the study and discussion of the group books with the same title. Since you have been given such an important responsibility as leading a group of Christians in the study of the Bible, I would like to share with you some principles utilized by the apostle Paul in his teaching and preaching ministry. These will assist you in your time with the believers God has given to you to minister to. These are in no particular order but all are important. The Lord does not expect us to be perfect in them but to simply do the very best that we can. If we are willing to do our part, then He will do His part through His Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 12:5-7, Paul explains, "There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord." Here Paul, the apostle, acknowledges that the saints can minister to one another in a variety of ways. Then he adds, "There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all." As each person ministers, they will have a different impact than others but it is all the work of the Holy Spirit. Finally, he continues, "But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all." Your service in this ministry is coming from the giftedness which is a work of God's Spirit to benefit all. Do the best you can with these principles and let the Spirit do the rest.
