The flower with its naive face, gently waving when a breeze shakes it - is it my imagination or is it speaking to me? Ella Werker holds a PhD in botanical sciences. She was born in Jerusalem and has lived her entire life in the holy city. A Glimpse at Everything is is her third book of poetry, following the publication of Autumn in 2012 and Reflections at the End of a Season in 2014. Her poems encompass a variety of aspects; nature, landscapes, society and the country. The poet goes within and then externalizes her inner life for the reader, rich in experience, in a poignant and exact voice.
Gesher Benot Ya'aqov, located in the Dead Sea Rift valley, is one of the oldest non-African sites to have yielded evidence for the activities of groups of hominin hunter-gatherers.
