The basic idea of this book is to share life experiences, and thereby give comfort and encourage smiles, by showing my own and others' reflections on different life-situations. I am sure that many of them are comparable to those that occur in your life, or to others around you. By sharing experiences, we all learn something. Women are probably sharing thoughts more often than men. Many of the events in this book have also been discussed in female groups. They have not all been personally experienced by me but are the consensus from these fruitful discussions. Now I am pleased to share them with you. Among the experiences discussed in this book: heartbreak, the #MeToo movement and my own experiences, divorce as its complication as a parent, and my own thoughts about the pandemic. I also share with you my thoughts about the aging process that we all must endure, if we are lucky enough to live that long, since life is still a gift given to us all. We ought to remember that and enjoy the journey.

Forfatteren mener, at der ikke er meget, som lyder dejligere end et barns latter. Børn tænker mange kloge tanker. Det er vigtigt at de bliver lyttet til. Det er også både lærerigt og morsomt for den voksne at høre og forstå barnets tanker og meninger.

The author of this book, who earlier lived in another Nordic country moved back to Denmark after retirement of an academic career and desided to explore the nature, wood and shore, around Nyborg. The daily promenade with the mini-dackshound "Mr Carl", gave many experiences and thoughts.The author has for many years studied stress related diseases, and has thereby the understanding of how nature has the ability to restore both body and mind with its`healing power, by reducing stress levels in the body, as well as giving the mind "peace" and uplifting.The aim of this book was therefor to inspire others to be more in nature for wellbeing and good health.
The author of this book, who used to live in another Nordic country returned to Denmark after retiring from an academic career and decided to explore the nature, woodlands and shoreline around Nyborg. The daily promenade with "Mr Carl", the mini-dackshund gave access to many beautiful experiences and insights.The author has been involved in the study of stress related diseases for many years and has developed an understanding of how nature has the ability to restore both body and mind with its` “healing power”, by reducing stress as well as giving the mind a sense of "peace" The aim of this book is to inspire others to be more open to nature and thus improve their wellbeing and good health.
