Only A Slip is a novel written by Elmer Burleigh and published in 1886. The story revolves around the life of a young woman named Ethelwynne, who is the daughter of a wealthy businessman. Ethelwynne is engaged to be married to a man named Arthur, but she finds herself falling in love with another man named Harold.
