Tanya Anastas, an American DEA agent who is of Ukrainian heritage, bravely leads agents into a US battle against foreign drug criminals and is wounded. When she recovers, she is promoted to a leadership position in an international DEA headquarters in Belgium, which allows her to try to save her Ukrainian relatives from the Russian invasion.
Once wounded DEA agent Tanya Anastas is sent to be Regional Director in Brussels, and goes to Ukraine to rescue her family of heritage, a grandmother and two nephews in one trip, but also returns to Ukraine to help a wounded retired American Army soldier, whom she met earlier, to return also with her to Brussels. The DEA agency hears of her bravery and decides to bring all of them home to the United States where she will be the new director of the DEA Museum.
A heroic American DEA agent is appointed regional head in Brussels, Belgium and thus has an opportunity to go to the Ukraine, where that country is part of her personal heritage. There she seeks to rescue her grandmother and relatives from the Russian invasion. Along the way she meets two retired American soldiers who are also going to the Ukraine to help fight the invaders. She finds her survivors and the soldiers fight the enemy.
