We all participate in an world where we are blind to the unknown. These images and poetry reflect that our basic revelations use touch, taste, balance, and smell. Sight and hearing offer a much bigger view of the world around us. What if we did not have the gift of sight? However, we can all consider that we have blindness of understanding. Therefore, we must show kindness beyond what we know.

Wherever we stand on earth's grasslands we are confronted with the simple truth that they are lands that, like the oceans, cannot be measured. These drawings are from my experience and personal awe of the lands and people of eastern Montana. They express our universal attachment for our first home, within the arc of the earth.

Both animals and man exhibit competition for sexual reproduction, power, and geographic space through flagging and parading. Support is attracted. Competitors are warned. Groups created by man to secure power create images, or flags, which represent them. "Can We All Get Along?" Rodney King is a visual essay that quilts flags into multiple combinations in order to lament the inability of the diverse tribes of humanity to live in peace.

On a clear night we see durations of time perceived at once through constellations of light from stars light years away. A music composer creates constellations of sound at once perceived visually in a score, or its providence. The score's fate is to be presented through sound in a sequence of time. The score forms the model, or providence, for the music. Each performance of the score is unique because it is dependent on the character of each performing artist and the audience. Thus, fate becomes the unique performance of providence.

All man's communities must find resolution between personal FREEDOM and provision of EQUALITY, expressed in the word EVERYONE - or is the word ONE-EVERY? Men can resolve this conflict though killing or create a peaceful resolution. The peaceful TUG OF WAR balances the relationship of FREEDOM to EQUALITY. To achieve this cultures have created different processes to prevent killing and war. The admirable United Nations Declaration of Human Rights qualifies these values to give dignity to each person and achieve a balance. However, its excessive use of the pronoun EVERYONE creates confusion among nations. For example, in America this relational conflict is observed in a TUG of War of the Presidential Election. How can the concept of FREEDOM effect the Republican Party and the concept of EQUALITY effect the Democratic Party in this election? What lessons can be learned by other nations?
