Summary is best said in the words taken from "Light for My Path for Grandparents". The following Illuminating Selections from the Bible best represent what my heart says. As a grandparent I am at a point in my life where I can look back and see how God has blessed me down through the years. God has richly blessed me and my family and according to His word he will continue to bless us now and forever. I want my life to reflect Christ. I am grateful for the new life I have in Him. I ask Him to fill me with His Spirit each day, so that I might be an effective witness of His love. Thank you Lord for my precious children and grandchildren you have abundantly blessed me with. Make me a blessing in their lives as well as in the lives of everyone with whom I come in contact. I am ever so grateful for the material possessions you've given me, I am most grateful for the treasure of my family-the only blessings I can take to heaven with me. Father, I want to be a person of my word so that my family can follow my example. Thank You for keeping Your promise to us. I take comfort in the fact that Your word will never fail. Throughout my life I have worked hard at reaching my goals. My desire is to continue making progress, especially growing in my Christian life. You are my coach - my trainer and my encourager as I run the race You have for me. As I make choices, help me to accept Your discipline with grace, so that I may not only grow in my Christian life but also be an example to my family and friends. As I interact with my family and Mends may I hold Your word in my heart and reflect Your loving presence. Help me to guide and encourage them with wisdom. Not only have you blessed me with material possessions but also with unique talents that I can share with others. Make me aware of those who need my assistance so that I can share my time in helping or even listening when they need to talk. My treasure and abilities are yours Lord I want to use them to benefit others. Thank you Lord for my heritage. I pray for the members of my family that they will live a life pleasing to You and will continue the Christian heritage. My they consider my life to have been one of faithful service to you. My mirror tells the truth. Looking at my changing feature, may I be reminded of Your changeless love. I pray that You are reflected in my every smile, my every word and every breath. I commit my life to you God. All of the before mentioned blessings are my reasons for writing.
