Powieść o inwazji Marsjan została zaprezentowana jako słuchowisko radiowe, zaistniała także w wersji muzycznej i w wersjach filmowych. Kilkakrotnie sfilmowano także inne powieści autora „Niewidzialnego człowieka": „Wehikuł czasu" i „Wyspę doktora Moreau".
