Voneinander getrennt erleiden die beiden mannigfache Abenteuer, ehe sie schließlich glücklich vereint werden und Nala sein Königreich wiedererlangt. 'Nala und Damayanti' gehört zu den bekanntesten und beliebtesten Episoden des Mahabharata.
