This poetry is written based on experiences of a small rural town in New Zealand. The place is beautiful in the summer, spring and autumn. During the winter however the place is a miserable foggy pit, located in a low-lying depression with regular winter floods. There are some great people living there, however the winter months are much like some of the people written in these poems, cold, gray, vindictive and miserable. Names in theses texts have been altered to preserve anonymity.
