There are quite a few naughty adventures that the various Mumble family members have indulged in, with sex, violence and witchcraft featuring heavily.

This is an adventure story about an explorer and soldier of fortune called Casey Jones and his perilous quest to find the Golden Gobbler. The Golden Gobbler is a statue of the first High Priestess of the ancient Twatolo tribe. This book is action packed with violence, sex and some very funny adult humour included.

But he also paints a vivid picture of the vicious discipline of the army, skulduggery at elections, the class violence of industrial struggles, the ritual violence of duelling and the swingeing punishment of poachers.
