"A Flower Book" is a part of "The Dumpy Books for Children" collection published in 1901. The author is Eden Coybee and the illustrator is Nellie Benson. Most photographs we see in the twenty-first century are in full-colour, and that can be great. When the author/photographer Ian McKenzie was growing up in the fifties and sixties, it was well before the age of digital cameras and unless they were hand painted, most photographs were in black and white. Some black and white images have a quality which just can not be matched with colour images.

Heart of Darkness (1899) is a novella by Polish-British novelist Joseph Conrad, about a voyage up the Congo River into the Congo Free State, in the heart of Africa, by the story's narrator Charles Marlow. Marlow tells his story to friends aboard a boat anchored on the River Thames, London, England. This setting provides the frame for Marlow's story of his obsession with the ivory trader Kurtz, which enables Conrad to create a parallel between London and Africa as places of darkness. Central to Conrad's work is the idea that there is little difference between so-called civilised people and those described as savages; Heart of Darkness raises questions about imperialism and racism. Originally issued as a three-part serial story in Blackwood's Magazine to celebrate the thousandth edition of the magazine, Heart of Darkness has been widely re-published and translated into many languages. In 1998, the Modern Library ranked Heart of Darkness sixty-seventh on their list of the hundred best novels in English of the twentieth century.

Photographer Ian McKenzie conducts regular photo shoots for models and actors living in the south-east Queensland region. This album contains colour photographs from the two January shoots and the first February shoot in 2017. The shoot locations were; Captain Burke Park at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane, Bulcock Beach at Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast and Cedar Creek Falls at Mt Tamborine.

Henry Lawson is claimed by many to be Australia's greatest writer. He was a contemporary of A.B. (Banjo) Patterson who is equally well known. He was born in 1876 and died in 1922. This collection of his works, "While The Billy Boils", was first published in 1896, and is considered Lawson's most successful collection of prose.

This is Volume 4 in the Passionate About Photography series. This is the largest publication in the series to date, with a total of one hundred and twenty-two pages in full colour (with the exception of just a few black and white photos). The photographs were taken by the photographer/author between January and July 2016.

A Tale of Two Cities (1859) is an historical novel by Charles Dickens, set in London and Paris before and during the French Revolution. The novel tells the story of the French Doctor Manette, his 18-year-long imprisonment in the Bastille in Paris and his release to life in London with his daughter Lucie, whom he had never met; Lucie's marriage and the collision between her beloved husband and the people who caused her father's imprisonment; and Monsieur and Madame Defarge, sellers of wine in a poor suburb of Paris. The story is set against the conditions that led up to the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror.

The original stories in "My First Picture Book" are in two parts in this latest publication. All original illustrations have been included. although the text is the same as the original, new coloured font has been used to give added colour and brightness. "Slovenly Betsy" was originally published in 1911. Heinrich Hoffman was its author and the illustrations were by Walter Hayn. The original publication contained ten short stories. This current publication contains the first four of them. The remainder will be found in Books two and three. We are "Passionate About Photography"! Who are We? We are a group of photographers and models who live and work in or near Brisbane, who get together one day each month for a photography shoot. All venues are outdoors, and we choose a different venue every month. The group is informal, consisting of both professional and amateur photographers and models. A common interest we have is in being Passionate About Photography. Anyone is welcome to join us for our monthly shoots, however, there are protocols which need to be followed. The November, 2014 shoot is however the first to have a paperback album printed. It is planned that this will be done for all future shoots. Author/photographer Ian McKenzie is the sole contributor to this particular volume. However, it is intended that other photographers involved in future shoots will be invited to contribute to future volumes.

Do you keep records of your workouts on scraps of paper? Perhaps you try to remember it all without writing anything down. We all know that planning is important in most aspects of our lives, and motivation to work is vital, whether or not you are looking forward to the work to be done. "365 Workouts" provides you with a daily workout schedule for each day in the year, with workout information for each session on a large 'Letter' size page. This journal will last you a full year if you workout daily. If you workout just three times a week, it will last you well over two years. There is ample room on each page to list up to 20 different exercises and the weight/load you are using, the number of repetitions and the number of sets of each exercise. Using the journal for each workout will allow you to see your improvement and progress over time, which should be a good motivational factor. Ian McKenzie believes in the "KISS" principle, (Keep it simple sweetie!), and has purposefully not included weight, diet, and other information you may wish to record on each page. But, on every page is a generous "notes" section where you can record the information you wish, which is important for you to record.

"Black, dry, irreverent, ironic, self-mocking" are all words that have been used to describe Australian humour. This humour is reflected in the unique slang that is used by Aussies. The author has compiled a comprehensive catalogue of Australian colloquialisms and has included not only explanations of their meanings, but in several cases short stories and examples of them.

This is an album of black and white photographs taken by the author/photographer Ian McKenzie from January to July, 2016. Regular photo shoots are conducted and are free of charge for any models who are able to attend the shoots. Models have free access to file copies from the shoots for posting on their web sites and/or Facebook pages.

Berrinba Wetlands is one of Logan City's well kept secrets. It was the venue for Passionate About Photography photo shoot on the 26 March, 2017.

World events during 2016 and the early part of 2017 have made many of us feel ill at ease. Sometimes reading what philosophers and even actors and politicians have had to say throughout history can be thought provoking and may be just as relevant now as it was in the past. Compiled in this publication is a collection of quotations that are meaningful for me. Some are motivational, some about love and some are just funny. The book is in full colour, and each quote is illustrated with graphics and/or a photograph.

This album is a collection of black and white photographs taken by the author at his Passionate About Photography shoots over the last two years.

900 full colour photographs on 230 large 8.5" X 11" pages. Professional makeup artists assisted actors and models who attended Wade's annual Halloween party in Brisbane. Photographer Ian McKenzie was there to capture the beaut costumes, makeup and atmosphere of the party. Kids were there in the early part of the evening and then it was time for the adults to party.

An album of photographs of kids enjoying children's books authored by Janine Thomas. Janine's children's books are unique in that each one published is for a specific child who is a part of the story in the book.

This is Volume 2 in the series Passionate About Photography. It is basically a full colour photo album of our group's Christmas theme shoot in 2014. Models may be professional or amateur. There are no restrictions on who attends our photography sessions.
