These sermons are preached by the author of the marvelous books, "A Pastor's Sketches." Spencer spoke directly to the heart and the mind of his hearers. These Doctrinal Sermons cover all the main areas of Christian Theology. His sermon on Election is extremely helpful to those who struggle with this great mystery revealed by God.
This is the third and final volume of Dr. Spencer's marvelous sermons. Each of these messages was preached at the Lord's Table, and sets forth the glory and the majesty of "Christ and Him crucified." Gardiner Spring introduced this volume which was first published seven years after the death of Dr. Spencer.
This volume contains a sketch of the author written by a close friend of many years, and twenty Practical/Experimental Sermons preached in his regular pulpit ministry in Brooklyn, NY. Those who have appreciated his volumes, "A Pastor's Sketches", will not be disappointed when they read these marvelous sermons.
