"ROADPOETS REVIEW! Home Town Ride" is a ride down memory lane in Hamilton and Wenham, Massachusetts. In the 60's, in high school, in cars, on motorcycles, on the North Shore, expressing the joy and excitement in the lives of ordinary people - who are always unique!
Merrimac Mic was born September 5, 2013, and has continued every Thursday night except for a few holidays and snowstorms. This anthology is a collection of written words submitted on invitation to the community that has formed around our open forum. It gives us pride and pleasure to fill these pages with our thoughts. We hope you'll enjoy them. There's as much variety as there are contributors.
Laconia! Handlebars and Memories is a collection of stories and photos of personalities from Laconia Motorcycle Week over the last several decades. If you've never been, you can experience a bit of it here!
Merrimac Mic Anthology IV: watershed is the fourth anthology compiled from poetry of the readers at Merrimac open Mic for the spoken word. We are an eclectic and diverse group of writers who take pride in our words and have fun with them, too. A tight, supportive community we are, always enjoying each other's pieces and finding joy in the triumphs of writing and publishing.
"Laconia Motorcycle Week 1916" is a well-researched and documented history of the annual gathering of bikers in Laconia, New Hampshire. This is also a fun read, well-written, of personal experiences - great stories!
This is Merrimac Mic's second and possibly final anthology of poems and written and spoken pieces shared at the open mic. Just because the subtitle is "going with the floes" in no way means that the contents are cold, much less frigid. Personal, yes; fun, usually; and often HOT! Fun is the operative word for a compilation of pieces shared at an open mic. Join us!
Merrimac Mic's third anthology includes poetry by writers from Swansea, Wales, and Alabama poetess Bonnie Roberts, all of whom visited us in October 2016. Another fun, fine and eclectic collection.
Cramer's teachings are not based on limited human opinion, but on spiritual revelation. The writings in this book are based on Truth, the absolute Truth of God, not the relative truth of humankind. Man's idea of truth is constantly changing; God's Truth is eternal, never changing. Therefore, understanding the teachings in this book has the potential to change one's life if they are understood spiritually, not just on the mental level. As one's spiritual consciousness grows and expands, one's life also changes. Consciousness is cause, and our outer life is effect. Change consciousness and the effect, the outer life, changes in proportion. How is this to be accomplished? By studying, contemplating, praying, meditating and applying Truth, one can speed one's spiritual growth. Malinda Cramer was a blessing to the many people who had the advantage to learn from her enlightenment, her spiritual revelations. But do not accept what she says at face or surface value. Contemplate and meditate on the teachings to help bring out their full meaning. Your spiritual growth can be great as you do this. May you be blessed by the reading and application of Cramer's teachings! From the introduction by Rev Nina Russell
